This should have been a no brainer but Kitchens screwed Higgins over. The injuries to OBJ and Hodge have shown Stefanski what kind of chemistry Higgins has with Baker and now the front office realizes what he can do.

Baker isn’t great and he isn’t a bust. He has shown flashes of greatness along with flashes of bust.
I’d call him a middle of the pack QB that can elevate his game. He has shown a lot of improvement this year and I hope it continues.

I’ve watched the Vernon play multiple times and that is completely on Vernon. You can’t lead with your head. There were a ton of other questionable calls though. On the personal foul call on Olivier Vernon, he led with his helmet and was helmet to helmet contact. I am not sure why everyone is up in arms about the call because it was a good call and should be made every single time and I would hope that if a defender did that to Mayfield that it would be called.
