Full disclosure, I’m no JFF fan and I’m uncertain he has the necessary physical attributes. I do not believe that he has to play to demonstrate that he’s ready.

Regardless, the Plan all summer and for the foreseeable future was/is to play McCown and groom JFF. If you think JFF is a finished product at this time, there is no hope for you.

Until such time as A) A more capable & polished JFF emerges OR B) McCown goes down (again), you stick to your Plan and play McCown with ClipBoard Johnny at the ready.

All we’re seeing now is JFF Fanaticism Part Deux. It was proven to be ridiculous the first time around. You really wanna do THAT again?!?!
