  • 4 days later and I’m still mad enough to give Ronnie Harrison a goat.

He caught a put at like the 12 or 13, and it was bouncing towards the goal line. Could’ve pinned them within the 5. An absolute BONEHEAD move.

  • Those empty backfield calls!!! I think they all worked well, but I still criticized them. I just don’t see how a team with Chubb, Hunt, D’Ernest, and an immobile qb should ever come out with an empty backfield

  • I would’ve accepted the Cade York goat IF he’d given one to any DBs at all. They have Corey Davis a free 6 points, and it’s the 2nd week in a row they’ve done it!! If not for Cade York, the backfield would’ve handed us an 0-2 record. They gave up 13 points in 1:25 to a team with no timeouts and Joe Flacco, and somehow he gave York a goat over…[Read more]

  • Cade York? Watch football idiot. Kickers miss all the time.

The browns play 1% defense and that miss is completely irrelevant.

How tf you giving York a goat and not Cooper for getting outmuscled for the ball, or a single DB for not covering Davis? Or Wilson at the end?

  • It’s kind of weird, but this almost makes him feel less guilty, if you get my meaning.

Like, now instead of saying they looked at it once, you can say they looked at it twice and didn’t see enough evidence for an indictment.

The reality is the 2 grand juries only consider 9 and 1 of the claims made against him, respectively. And his inn…[Read more]

  • This fucking sucks.

  • So, this is exactly the way every media outlet is reporting it. They’re clearly reporting what Cleveland wants them to report, because they’re leaving out:

Cleveland’s front office said the wanted to move on from Baker EVEN IF they couldn’t get Watson.

Cleveland’s front office said they wanted “an adult” at the position (implying Bak…[Read more]

  • I don’t think anybody, ANYBODY, has a problem with the compensation they’re talking about for the talent upgrade Watson would be over Baker.

It 100% comes down to the off-field stuff. Which is 22 accusations of sexual misconduct. It’s tough to support a guy like that. I haven’t looked into it enough to know all the details, but I know it’s en…[Read more]

  • I have no idea how that changes or doesn’t change if we don’t sign Watson.

  • The rumor I just saw is that if we sign Watson, it’ll cost us this and next years firsts. Then we trade Baker to the Colts for their 1st next year.

I think Baker gets at least a first.

  • Austin Hooper is now reportedly being released as well. I assumed this was coming the moment we tagged Njoku. Still sucks.

FYI, I do agree with letting these 3 go. I love them, but they weren’t playing up to their contracts. It makes sense to try to get more out of your money.

I just don’t, at the moment, see the overall plan. And the…[Read more]

  • We’re officially all the way back to the Browns.

To recap: we’re looking at doing an expensive trade to get Deshaun Watson, who’s wildly unpopular and had been accused by 22 women of various forms of sexual misconduct.

Deshaun Watson allegedly does not want to playin a cold weather city and has a no-trade clause. We’re not getting Watson.…[Read more]

  • Ok, I don’t understand why people are baggin on him for injuries. According to NFL.com he’s played at least 14 games every year of his career.

I’m going to call that BS. Right there with people bagging on Jarvis for injuries, even though he never missed a start in his career prior to 2021.

  • I have heard he takes plays off, though I can say that I’ve seen it.

I do know he’s not a premadonna. He isn’t even on Twitter. They drafted CeeDee Lamb to replace him, and he never made a peep. And his route running is among the best in the league. Everything I’ve seen says he’s always where he’s supposed to be.

    The biggest kno…[Read more]

  • They announced today we’re trading for Amari Cooper. Compensation is a fifth and we switch 6 round picks. Great move on that front, though we’re now on the hook for his salary.

I think it’s a great move. If we would’ve gone into the draft without adding a big wr, we would’ve been leapfrogged for sure. And if we don’t keep Jarvis, Cooper take…[Read more]

  • The Vikings just announced they’re hiring Browns VP of football operations Kwesi Adofo-Mensah to be their next GM.

A year or 2 ago, the nfl passed a rule to encourage teams to hire and promote minorities to executive positions. Since the Browns “developed” (if that’s the right word) Adofo-Mensah, they’ll be rewarded with a 3rd round compensat…[Read more]

  • We only signed him to a 1 year deal last year, so is going to be a free agent anyway.

Obviously, we could have resigned him had this not happened, but we’re not exactly out anything by him getting arrested. It just takes a familiar name out of the free agent pool, so to speak.

  • Like others have said, Stefanski tries to outsmart the other team every f’n play. So, the opposing DC knows if he stacks the box, Stefanksi won’t run into that front. So they can use their formation to effectively take our best player out of the game.

Stefanski showed as much during the last drive on Monday. He ran Nick Chubb on that dri…[Read more]

  • I don’t buy all that Soup. Stefanski has had an insane number of opportunities to bench Mayfield this year, and he’s insisted every time that Baker is the QB. Coaches don’t do that for players they hate.

  • The whole game was f’ing bizarre. Stefanski said after the game Chubbs runs got hurt early. Ok, if that’s true, why keep playing him at all? I can understand pulling him if he’s hurt, but running him less? Makes absolutely no sense.

And that still doesn’t explain why D’Ernest didn’t get more carries, if Chubb was hurt.

    Giving Watt free r…[Read more]
