On that, we can all agree. However, it’s been reported that we had scouts present during the game, and while I don’t know who or what is playing for UNC (here’s a hint, I rarely watch college games, unfortunately), this might actually be one of those “safe assumption” reports. With all the time between now and the draft, this doesn’t look like a…[Read more]

That’s awesome brother, congrats.
Now, do the right thing and raise him in a better city. 😛

From certain reports, I guess they’re big on the QB from UNC. Something like 70% accuracy, 25/4 touchdown/interception ratio…hold up, I’ll look for him…

Seriously, I would punch you. I can’t, due to medical reasons (fucking rheumatoid arthritis), but I really want to.
But…I do concur. Johnson was actually playing his ass off while the rest of the team was doing their best to hand the game to Shitsburgh. Pryor was doing his thing as well.
Still…it’s almost as if these guys are playing…[Read more]

If someone gives a game ball for anyone on this football team (current roster), they deserve to be punched.
This was some of the worst football I have ever witnessed. And I’ve witnessed some doozies. And it’s not getting any better.
See you next week.

It’s not just in TV land, but everything NFL-related has a hefty price tag on it.
For example, when I was in Ohio last summer, I took a trip to 2 places to pick up some fan gear and other memorabilia…Dick’s and the HOF (which I hadn’t been to since I was a kid). From Dick’s, I walked away empty-handed…because when a pair of shorts with a…[Read more]

You know, this is completely unfair to Whitehurst, don’t you? I mean, did you guys watch the same game I did? All that big play capability on display? His… *hears ESPN alert on phone* …oh. Well, he’s just been released, and they’ve called up Hogan from the practice squad.
Well now. Damn, I had this whole big Jesus argument to make, and ESPN…[Read more]

Not shocked at all. Nor am I going to miss him. Granted, he was somewhat productive the last couple of seasons, but nowhere near worth a roster spot if the team is looking to get their guys in place. Especially when Hue is devoted to changing the culture, so to speak.

I agree, get your life in order before devoting your life to, at the end of the day, a game. I just hope he isn’t doing this as a cover for some shit he pulled.
As a fan of said game though…it kinda rips the heart out of you. Was really looking forward to seeing him and Pryor on the field. I can only hope that will happen, as his chances of…[Read more]

Shooter, you really ARE a funny guy! 😂
I’m with Soup here though. Even though it’s likely that we’ll likely be on QB #27 by the end of the game, we drafted these fucking receivers to go catch balls.
Hopefully they do that instead of sucking them.

I’m beginning to wonder if we built our stadium on an Indian burial ground or something. There is just no other team on the planet as unlucky as ours…

You know, dog on him all you want, but the motherfucker is banging Jewel (not Soup, but Whitehurst). And we aren’t. That fact alone earns him a roster spot.
In other news, we just signed some other center from the Skins practice squad. I’m sure he’s light years ahead of Erving.

Well, let’s hope he learned to actually get rid of the ball (yeah, I said that already). To be fair, he was playing with 3rd team players, so we’ll see how it shakes out. Hopefully, he can play on par with his college career.
In other news, look for a vet to be signed by tomorrow morning. As for who, I don’t have the foggiest, but the pickings…[Read more]

Careful what you wish for. Looks like Kessler is gonna be at the helm Sunday.
And I hope he’s worked on getting rid of the ball, or he’ll be next on the list. Something tells me it’s gonna be a long day.

FWIW, San Diego has a history of players that hold out. This is saying nothing to the good or bad of Bosa, but I’ve heard they are very bullish in the front office, and some guys just don’t like being pushed around.
And DAMN Soup, why the hate? It’s almost like you wanted the dude to fail.
So, in light of that, I’ve decided to make light of that.
