Safety:
Karl Joseph & Malik HookerJoseph because he played OK under Woods. And Hooker because he is actually a single high free safety.
Corner Backs:
Gareon Conley, Michael Davis & Ahkello WitherspoonConley excells at Man and is meh at zone. Davis and Witherspoon both are taller and are better at zone than man but not by much.

The FLOOR of the salary cap has been set at 180 million. So thats the least you can spend. Thats from the tweeted NFL memo.
So I am guessing is 180mill FLOOR is 80% of a 200 million cap/ceiling.DawgSoldier replied to the topic Quick LB fix? in the forum Browns Forum 4 years, 1 month ago
Love Kirksey as when he was on the field. But he just hasn’t been on the field that much.

So according to https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cleveland-browns/cap/
With dead money and all players under contract the Browns have: $191,743,446 accounted for in cap space.
The NFL just set the CAP FLOOR at 180 million.
So when ever the CAP CEILING is announced (I am guessing at 200 million maybe as low as 195 million).
You then add the roll…[Read more]

The timing issue may be on “pause” as the whole league is waiting on cap numbers to be announced so they KNOW what they are working with.

At this point in his career is Watt likely to make it thru a season and be productive?
I like the Hendrickson kid as a FA better or J.Phillips from Miami in the draft at 26.
I wouldn’t be made if AB signed him. I just would be worried he’d end up on IR

In no certain order, here is mine.
Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa Height: 6-4. Weight: 256. Played a LB in a nickel scheme and won mutliple awards as the best defender in collgege football. His production vs competiton in the AAC reminds me of Khalil Mack destroying the MAC the year he came out. IMO though his best comparison in the league of what he…[Read more]

Guys that end up with the best defender in college football awards tend be exceptions to any kind of rule about positions. Because they also likely represent another rule. BPA.
As for Moehrig, I don’t see the Browns going 1st round safety with Delpit coming back.
As for Ossai he is more of a 34 LB than a 43 DE. He has even dropped in coverage…[Read more]

1 30 million dollars in 2 WR’s is way out of wack asset wise in a run oriented offence ESPECIALLY when one of them as a Brown has been chronically un availble and ha production way out line for the price tag. Also tradhim frees up $$$$$$$$ to sign defensive FA’s in defense that needs a talent injection.
2 I like Laam as a swing tackle more than…[Read more]
