They should of kept Blake Williams as DC IMO. I think all the moves made today way under value continuity.

Love Kitchens as a OC. I am scared to death of a Rookie HC and Rookie QB combo. I think they should kept Williams and the whole staff as is.

This hire is all about going after the exception rather than the rule IMO. And I hate going after outliers/exceptions as they tend to be hard to find.

NFL HC jobs are an old mans profession. It’s considered really young if you are in your 40’s. Williams is 60, he could coach for 10 more years very likely. But if they wana go with a young Gen X’er I am cool with that because I actually got to type that sentence :D.

Reacting out of fear to make a choice usually doesn’t end well as a decision making criteria. Hypothetically losing Kitchens as a coordinator doesn’t mean he is a good head coaching candidate. As there are plenty examples of coordinator guy being awesome at being a coordinator and sucking at being a Head Coach.

Just glad No 3-4 DC is in line for a position as DC and or HC. Love the 3-4 scheme but the personnel on the defensive side is WAY to 4-3 centric to make a switch of schemes even a sane idea IMO.

Obviously there is disagreement on this.
