I don’t get it… I love Higgins. He was the one guy who was overachieving when everyone else was underachieving.

I really enjoyed how Dallas coaches put an untested and unheralded LT 1 on 1 versus Garrett (when even the best LT’s usually get help against him), then benched their LT because he didn’t do a good enough job against Garrett. Anyone else been put in an impossible situation by a boss, then yelled at by the boss when they didn’t somehow magically succeed?

Be careful Mike, you keep making positive informative posts and I might put you in charge of something.

The falloff from Chubb to Hunt is minor. Chubb is a better power runner and Hunt is a better receiver, but not by much.

Nope, he ‘missed’ an XP that got blocked for a 2pt conversion. IIRC blocked XP’s count as a miss in the stats.

This is the best I’ve seen the offensive line play in probably 20+ years. I don’t know how much of that success is due to Callahan, the offensive scheme, or the individual players but they all deserve a lot of praise. The thing about Schobert is he dramatically improves the all the LB’s around him. That doesn’t show up in the stats. I have no idea why we let him walk.

Have you seen the injury reports after week 2? Achilles are popping like bubble wrap out there. I expect a lot more soft tissue injuries this season because of the lack of training camps to ramp up their bodies back into playing form.

We as a franchise are locked into ugly colors. You can’t take brown, orange, and white and make it look artistic. We have to embrace the ugly. I feel that’s what these uni’s do. They make it look tough.

Balls:

Landry and OBJ take as much pride in their blocking as they do catching the ball. They’re not o-linemen by any means but the effort is excellent. Both of them sealed key blocks on long runs last night.
