Phil Taylor went bye-bye as well. I was actually hoping he would stick around.

Our D-Line better be very good to let Taylor go (with a cap hit).

Once he’s cut, he can compete with Manziel to be our #2. Whatever is going on with him right now, he’s not right. Conversely, both Griffin and Manziel have some similar skill sets which would make the OC’s job easier than having a mobile QB and a strictly pocket passer.

My issue is that every front office we have had since 99 has been trying to solve the QB issue. The problem is that the front office and coaching staff really aren’t around long enough to see their plans to completion.

Until we stabilize the leadership, we will never fix the QB situation.

I think he makes the roster. We are definitely NOT loaded at either QB or WR. The offense needs playmakers. Pryor’s athleticism and knowledge as a QB can be used by a creative OC to make plays. Kordell Stewart is the obvious comparison.

Because I just don’t think it will alter Manziel’s NFL path. He’s either going to have it all come together and become a NFL quality player or he’s not. Its internal to him almost like its in his DNA.
