Agree with both Dude and MDP. My biggest fear is that he goes somewhere else and becomes Drew Brees 2.0. His arm and his confidence in his arm were decimated by injuries this year. That dude took us deep into the playoffs. I have some loyalty for that.

I don’t know enough about Watson’s problems to know whether I hate him or not. I guess if we sign him then I’m gonna have to read the allegations, which doesn’t sound like a fun way to spend an afternoon.

I’m less optimistic about his trade value. I think it’s likely between a 3rd and a 5th.

I think we need to stop thinking of Cooper as a replacement for Landry, he’s a replacement for OBJ. We haven’t replaced Landry yet.

My best guess is that Baker will fetch at least a first rounder.

Releasing Landry doesn’t feel good because he helped to start to change the culture even though we have had only 1 winning season in the last 4. He definitely gave it his all. Harris is ready to take over and this saves cap space. These things need to be done since the Browns have several players set to make more money in 2023.

Amari Cooper is a definite upgrade from Landry. This move is a no brainer. Paying 4 million more for Cooper was an easy decision.
