I raised my estimate from 4-5 to 7. Baker was lightyears better than I thought he’d be, but there’s going to be some bumps in the road. He forced some passes into some amazingly tight spots and they won’t always connect.

But you predicted 0-15-1 multiple times too.

I don’t think it’s just the energy, it’s the fact that the offense stays on the field for more than 3 plays and doesn’t stick the defense with really bad field position.

When you have Garrett double teamed on every single play, someone’s gonna get left 1 on 1. Ogunjobi has done a really great job taking advantage of that. When Ogbah comes back it’ll really be fun to watch. Also this was the 2nd game without Kirksey. His return will improve us quite a bit as well.

Soup you’ve been upset at the defense, but look what happened to the defense when Mayfield came in. 1 1/2 quarters without Mayfield, defense allows 14 points. 2 1/2 quarters with him, defense allows 3 points. It turns out that defense and offense are somehow linked.
