Last year in Minnesota, Stefanski used three wide receiver sets 25% of the time. I would expect something similar this year.

I think Chris Hubbard makes the team because he can play both guards and right tackle. He was a swing player in Pittsburgh and that’s the role that suits him best. Agree. They were decisive with the picks. I thought it looked pretty good. They obviously had players who they were targeting and went out and got them.
I do believe they were true to their draft board too and didn’t reach.

Higgins is no doubt the 3rd best receiver on the team. It isn’t his fault we had an idiot for a HC last year. When the ball is throw his way, he produces.

I believe Wills will be able to make the transition from RT to RT and had him as number 2 behind Wirfs but if Joe Thomas says he was the best, then I will take his word. The Browns front office knew what they wanted and got him.

His footwork and hand usage are impeccable, plus he’s very athletic and well suited for the Browns wide zone run blocking scheme. Grabbing the John Mackey award winner in round 4 was a steal. The Browns will be running 2 and 3 TE formations and he will fit right in. Great pick in my opinion.

Would have rather had KJ Hill instead of Peoples-Jones but I am not complaining on drafting him.

No real surprises for day 3 of the draft. These players could have small roles this year and become significant contributors in future years.

This is how it should be. Drafting players who you can develop while putting them in a position to succeed. Maybe you catch a real gem.
