Much better play than last year or the year before this team shows promise it passes the eye test.

Kizer play as well as i’d hoped he just needs time and good things will come, the line looked better on pass blocking than run blocking. The defense looked tough and held the Stellers running game in check. Pass rush was not there though perhaps by plan or maybe Garretts not being there was a big difference.

well if the like the QB then who goes, Kessler or Hogan ? my guess is Cody, seems the team really wants to get the receiving room built up I mean we all saw little from Payton and Higgins hopefully Coates and Williams and Davis will get open and stretch the field but most important hang onto the ball.
mike barnes replied to the topic Waiver Pick Ups in the forum Browns Forum 8 years, 7 months ago
I thought if you claimed these guys you’ve got to put them on the 53 ?
mike barnes replied to the topic Waiver Pick Ups in the forum Browns Forum 8 years, 7 months ago
Williams Davis and Coates all have plus to a plus speed hopefully that means they’ll get open unlike Higgins and Payton. Jordan is well known to our DC so that’s his influence to the process as for the QB I guess Kessler is a goner we’ll have to see. The D lineman is the only one I really question but maybe he fits Greg Williams scheme.

With the rise of our younger players and the age questions of big ben, the health of Joe Flacco and the weakening of the Bengals O-line it might not be too long before we are in the hunt for the divison.

Give the guy a chance will ya, maybe he just needs a change of scenery like Jamar Taylor did.

Hall and Leslie looked better in Chicago than Higgins and Payton not that that’s saying much hopefully we’ll nab a vet by Sunday.

not worth it, look Kindred is playing well and tonight Pryor played well against the Bears I just don’t see our FO bringing in a vet D Back whose 30 for any reason.

I’ll miss Joe but his play the last few years was bad take the dough we save and pick up a WR and A vet cb and we’ll be a head.
mike barnes replied to the topic We need a receiver…we need one urgent. in the forum Browns Forum 8 years, 7 months ago
Give Njoku a break he’s not even played a real game yet let alone a season he’ll be fine with time. Britt i’m more worried about he’s a vet who should be showing more with the money we saved by cutting Joe Haden we’ve got the capital to sign a vet cut this weekend.

nice post, depending on how the season plays out WR, CB And LT would be nice in round 1
mike barnes replied to the topic On the precipice of the 2018 season in the forum Browns Forum 8 years, 7 months ago
Maybe splitting Njoku out wide like they did when he was at the u would help him get started, plus we’ve not seen duke in the slot yet even though Hue had him doing it in camp so maybe we’ve not seen all the playbook yet.
mike barnes replied to the topic Kizer named Browns starting QB in the forum Browns Forum 8 years, 8 months ago
I agree Hue’s game plans will be very important in Deshones development, but when we drafted the kid he was put on the fast track splitting time with the 1’s from the start attaching himself to Hue’s hip from the start this was pretty much a foregone decision from the moment we made the pick.

I’d love that record, don’t know how good the Texans are depends on the QB and right now it looks like Savage has won the job, Vikings game will be tough but are they really that good ? be nice to split with the Bungles so not unrealistic.
