A A+++ move for sure now we don’t have to draft a WR in round one if say a DE or DT is there we like.
I’d explore a draft day trade of Njoku for a top flight corner or as part of a deal to move up and grab one of the CB’s coming out this year.

What a letdown the raiders had that game won what a horrid defensive call the Raiders are just awful.
I’m giving props to DPJ for a 6th round pick he’s been huge for us as of late, Baker balled out tonight and the team as a whole did what they needed to do.
The chargers did us a solid by beating the Raiders Thur. night so they are basicly done,probably a .500 team.
On a similar note I’d love to see DPJ get more snaps and touches he’s got 4.4 speed and about 3 or 4 inches in height on OBJ
Soup needs to take a chill pill, yes we lost and it stinks but for the first time in years we had a team that can score with anybody and it feels great, no team is perfect and yes we need a lot of work on our defense this off season, but we also have more upside than a lot of teams in the nfl.
The good news win or lose Monday night the Browns will still hold the number 5 slot due to the head to head with the Colts, with three games to play the colts have games with Houston at Pittsburgh then home with Jax.
The Raiders loss drops them to 7 and 6 with games against the Chargers, fins and finishing at Denver.
the Fins Stand at 8 and 5 with New England at home before going on the road to Las Vegas and Buffalo to finish their season.
The Titans have games with Detroit, then two on the road against Green Bay and Houston.

Coach Stefanski going for it on fourth and inches up by 8 a FG would have given us an 11 point lead.

We have to take the approach that coach Stefanski has instilled in this team and concentrate on each game as it comes, jax is all that this team is worried about this week then on to TENN. That said we take care of busness against the jags and feast non both N.Y. teams gets us to 10 wins, i”d love to steal one of the big three left on the schedual Tenn, Balt or Pitt to get to 11.

I knew DPJ tested well at the combine but not that well what a shock amazing he fell to the 6th round, Hodge should be back to practice this week he was ahead of Higgs on the depth chart and is also a taller reciever, either way we’ll need to spread the ball around which Bakes is good at instead of trying to force the ball to OBJ all the time.
Redwine needs to play more and sendahoe needs to sit the pine, as for signing another safty well for an 8 game rental who would you suggest? this team is betting on Delpit next season and not wasting draft capital in a trade is my guess.
It would be a big help if Redwine and Harrison saw most of the snaps against the stoolers wonder why they stick with slojo?
Just a few observations on the coaching, first the plays are getting in much faster on offense that’s avoiding delay of game penalities and the waste of time outs, also the players are much more disaplined, the amount of flags thrown this season is getting lower each game. all in all I could not be more pleased with coach Stefanski and his staff.
Colts LT Anthony Castonzo and LB Darius Leonard are out vs the Browns. Losing ogunjobi hrts but Elliott has gotten quality reps the 1st 4 weeks and has held his own so lets hope for the best.
wouldn’t mind a CB from OSU they put out some good ones, though i see why the sec guys appeal to a lot of nfl teams speed soeed and speed.
Wasn’t it the great Vince Lombardi who said ” if you can run the ball you can do anything with it.” well this team is showing that to be true even 50 some years later.
3-1 feels fan freaking tastic it’s been what since 2001 since we’ve had this 2001 for crying out loud. this combo of GM and HC might just have us on track to have multipul years of playoff bound respectabilit, this is a great feeling.
Todays game was another sign of this teams maturation and while not pretty a win and a record of 3-1 is better than many of us thought after week 1, now for my balls and goats

Janovich how great it was to see a FB his blocking was a major reason Chubb and Hunt ran wild plus he secured the win by coming down with the onside kick.I go back to the way i was brought up and Taught in school and in the U.S.N, you stand for the flag remove your hat and place your hand over your heart period we were all taught that as children, just like opening a door for a lady, and if that’s somehow wrong today screw it I’ll never change, too many men and women of all races have died and been buried under that flag for it to mean any less for me.
normally I’m not all that into day 3 of the draft but this year I can’t wait for it to start, this gm and HC seem to be of one mindset and one goal finding players that fit the coaches system both offense and defense and that’s how teams like the Steelers and Ravens do it.
Any pick in the draft is a crap shoot Last year Mack Wilson this year Jacob Phillips, this front office seems to place their stock in the DL and secondary over the LB position.
with three picks tonight we could get WR Saftey and a LB or add a DE give me 3 of the 4 and that’s a good day 2.
Back to simple and historic that’s the way they should always be, like the white/white, white/brown, brown/white, don’t care for the color rush uni’s but overall good redesign.
Looking at this from a 30 plus year perspective I’d be hesitant to draft a right tackle and project him to the left side just saying, my vote is for Thomas or Wills.
An upgrade over Stanton, did anyone really think he’d play well if called upon for any length of time? I didn’t.
Hooper will be a good player for us I see what the new coach wants to do clear as day expect a ton of sets with Juice and odell, hooper and the chief and both chubb and hunt on the field at the same time.
