Football Team came out determined to stop the run. There were eight in the box and it wasn’t working. We let Baker and OBJ force the defense to play honest, then turned Chubb and Hunt loose and ground them down. Literally textbook strategy.

The Football Team was stuffing the line early, we used medium passing routes to loosen them up and then punished them with the running game in the second quarter. That’s a balanced attack.

Truth! There were a couple incidents of holding against our receivers which went uncalled, but they let a couple push-offs happen as well. I’m fine with letting both go, ad long as it’s even.

A #1 wide receiver puts up 100 yards against top corners. They’re always open, “forcing” them the ball isn’t an issue. They make quarterbacks look good. Randy Moss, TO, AJ Green, Steve Smith, Larry Fitzgerald…they all made mediocre to average quarterbacks look fantastic.

I’ve not seen that out of OBJ. I would love to, because we could certainly use it.

I don’t really care whether our terrible team ruined Mayfield’s career or whether he just didn’t have the skills to be a good NFL quarterback.
