Haven’t heard him connected to the Browns at all, but I wouldn’t be mad about it.

I hate the idea of a rookie head coach calling their own plays. There is a huge learning curve, even for experienced coordinators, pertaining to managing every aspect of a game from the sidelines. They cannot focus on any one element.

Definitely. Also a free safety if a tackle isn’t available… Randall is a free agent and I can’t see him re-signing here after his benching.

I hate adding to our coaching carousel, but this had to happen. When I feel bad for a head coach because he’s clearly in over his head, it’s not a good sign.

Hopefully we move fast, and get someone with experience at the job. I’d love to keep this roster mostly intact, and that’s the best path to doing so.

I like running the ball as well, but also I’m a realist about the modern NFL game and would prefer to win a Superbowl in the 2020 instead of trying to win one in the 1980s.

I’d definitely give Josh McDaniels some due diligence. Not my first choice, but he’s been proven to be the coach which Kitchens was supposed to be, but Josh actually understands the game of football as well. Young, innovative, driven, pedigreed, and local. Belicheck disciples scare me, however.

I don’t think a regime change has ever caused free agents to think about bolting. Good players want organizational stability. Try selling anyone that if we are on our fourth coach in three years.

What a fucking waste of talent this season has been. Bare minimum Randall and Hunt won’t be back.
