I recommend the Cleveland Hostel. It’s dirt cheap, right by the best drag of bars and restaurants in town, and a short trip from the stadium. Great option for groups, as well.

I just realized, reading this article, that a player has a choice between Cleveland and New England, and I really think he might choose the Browns. Remarkable.

Can’t hurt to enquire. Having three DTs to keep their legs fresh would be awesome, especially late in close games. I could definitely see him splitting time evenly with Richardson and Ogunjobi, just depends on if the money could work out.

I’m hoping there’s a corresponding move to get us an at least average SS before the draft. Given Dorsey’s track record, he doesn’t seem to like having his hand forced on draft day, and he likes having all the holes filled.
I’d expect a backup QB to be brought in before the draft, as well. We’ve built to much around our passing game, and…[Read more]

From everything I’ve read, if we’re expecting Murray to contribute anywhere other than special teams, then we’re expecting to be complete garbage at the safety position.

This could definitely hurt; we need him for the first half of the season.
MDP Sack Attack started the topic Dorsey rated #17 overall as a second round pick in the forum Browns Forum 7 years, 1 month ago
Very interesting, even if it’s a very unsubstantiated report. Supposedly he only had 15 players rated as being first-round talents, and that helped his trading away our first-round pick.
What say our resident draft fanatics? Would you rate this as a “shallow”…[Read more]

Bill, valuing draft picks as much as you do, how do you feel about the hefty price we paid for Odell Beckham? Both short term and 3+ years out.

In super small news, my man Earl Watford got signed by Tampa Bay. He made no impact on the field, but he was one of my semi-regulars at work (never really got drunk either, just loved hanging out with his friends and really digs craft cocktails). Hadn’t seen him since the end of the season because he transitions into stay at home dad, so he oddly…[Read more]

Regardless of what anyone think of their personalities, Pittsburgh has lost their two best offensive weapons and gotten a third round pick in return. We’re catching up pretty fast.

He’s been very productive when given the opportunity, and has even been productive when buried behind pro-bowlers. He fits the mold of the deep threat we need, and should be an upgrade over Perriman. I’m on board.
MDP Sack Attack replied to the topic G Zeitler being traded to NYG for OLB Vernon in the forum Browns Forum 7 years, 1 month ago
Vernon sounds like a solid pickup, but I’m confused by our trading a starter. They must be confident in Corbett.
MDP Sack Attack replied to the topic Kellen Winslow… off the reservation in the forum Browns Forum 7 years, 1 month ago
Jesus. Seriously, lock this douche up. Sad because Winslow was the only jersey I’ve bought in the new era, time to rip the “Robiskie” tape off his name and throw it out.
MDP Sack Attack replied to the topic Dawgstyle's WR to watch: Hakeem Butler in the forum Browns Forum 7 years, 1 month ago
I’m definitely in the minority, but I don’t necessarily see getting as jacked and bulky as Metcalf being much of a positive for a WR. A huge part of the game is being able to contort your body to make awkward catches in space around other bodies, and land super awkwardly without getting injured. That’s why it’s traditionally a lanky, flexible…[Read more]

No brainier, we have the money and we’d create a giant need at LT without him. Doesn’t mean we can’t upgrade, if the right talent is available, but it’s not a need.

I’m having a long week and had to do research because I didn’t recall Tim Couch being British🤣🤣🤣. I need a nap.
I’m really excited for the Browns to have an unexciting draft where we don’t have to make a “splash”, we likely take all players whom I (an extremely casual NCAA fan) have never heard of at positions which I didn’t see as a major need.…[Read more]

Gotcha. An extra pool of active players is definitely a good thing. Probably a good four or five years before it starts paying dividends, much like the NBA D-League did, but there’s a definite merit to keeping talented/borderline players active in the game.
Still, how the fuck has Trent fallen from “can’t miss” #3 overall pick to where six years…[Read more]
