Huge fan of Johnson, I’m so glad we kept him for another season. He could start for a lot of teams.

He just doesn’t have the acceleration and breakaway speed of Chubb, nor the elite route-running and hands of Hunt. He can definitely keep the defense honest and put up 100 yards any day, he’s just not a threat to take over a game.

Yeah, they need to get healthy. That’s really all there is to it. This offense is built around a strong offensive line and a running game. Minus two running backs and three tackles, it’s going to look like yesterday more often than not. Add in a one armed QB missing his favorite target…brutal.

The latest reports are that Landry will not be activated for tomorrow’s game.

Hunt is listed as active, which is great. I’m glad we still have D’Ernest on the roster, he’s been a great stand in.

Amazing news, however they just announced Chubb is out. Hopefully that’s just the one game.

Kyler is going to be a great test for the new, fast defense. Running QBs gave us fits, the past couple of seasons.

What the hell was with the play calling on that last drive? We needed big chunks of yards, we burnt out the clock dinking and dunking our way to 12 yards, and then launched up jump balls looking for penalty calls.

Don’t forget, Baker also lost his most reliable outlet in Landry. That’s a big factor as well.

Baker’s accuracy definitely looks off, and the shoulder seems like the most obvious culprit. It’s less decision making (although he missed that one easy read on a third down to the running back in the flat) and more that his passes are a foot or two off.
