Need to beat the Jets and Need a loss by Tenn/Balt/Miami so we are guaranteed a playoff spot first.
Miami’s D is excellent. Counting them out against the Bills is silly. Steelers destroyed Allen, New England destroyed Allen Miami made Mahomes look pedestrian.
If I have a choice of:
Steelers beat Indy Browns beat Jets:

Itd be less stressful to just have the Ravens lose the next 2 😂

I want to know who hired Monken and Horton since he didn’t know either of them and knew nothing about the air raid.
On the flip side all Freddie had to do was let Monken do his job.
It was like it was targeted dysfunction

Game balls:
Stefanski- after Monday night a team can suffer an emotional hangover. Stefanski prevented that in an absolute must win situation. A loss tonight would’ve put the Browns at #8 an looking in from the outside.
Mayfield- safe to say he was dialed in tonight
Nick Harris – 1st NFL game, 3rd string G. Great game.
Defense – after last w…[Read more]

Tonight is a must win to keep pace. Houston got my hopes up and fumbled going in to tie with 20 seconds left
soup replied to the topic What if the Browns finish 11-5? in the forum Browns Forum 5 years, 2 months ago
That’s weird, because, as I said, I was in your thought mode. When I went to NYT I put in only those teams, our prospects dropped from 99% to 76%. I’m assuming there’s weird scenarios from other teams that have something to do with it
soup replied to the topic What if the Browns finish 11-5? in the forum Browns Forum 5 years, 2 months ago
Nope, I’m 100% correct. Once it hits a 3 team tie breaker it’s head to head to head kind of thing. It’s bizarre as hell and until Twitter this afternoon I thought the exact thing as you, however, with 3+ teams at 11-5 they’ve all essentially beat each other (We beat Tenn, but Tenn beat Balt who beat us) it’s really bizarre.
In a two team scen…[Read more]

I’ll be happy to see him only if he throws multiple picks and takes sacks like Jones

If Miami goes 11-5
If Baltimore goes 11-5
If Tenn goes 11-5
If Indy goes 11-5Browns at 11-5 are out of the playoffs. That Baltimore loss could prove deadly. Now the only way we get in without help is at 12-4.
So must win the next 3, otherwise our destiny depends on other teams.

As I said. Cincy in 2007 wasn’t “must win” because if another team lost we would’ve been in. A win Monday and a win vs Giants and we’d have been in. It certainly would be nice to rest against the Steelers in prep for playoffs wouldn’t it?
soup started the topic Playoff chances Sunday night in the forum Browns Forum 5 years, 2 months ago
Win Sunday and it’s 95%. Lose Sunday and it’s 68%. In short it’s a must win, unless you like relying on others to lose to get in.

We best shut his ass out. Hopefully he pulls the same stuff as last year and completely changes the game plan Sunday night from what they practiced all week.

We haven’t clinched the playoffs yet and lost a must win game. We lost to the Bengals in 2007 which set us up to rely on others to lose. It’s shaping up that way again.

I’ll be watching I’ll be hoping they win, but this is feeling all way too 2007

We aren’t in the playoffs yet. You’re looking way ahead when now odds are getting stacked against us. You’re assuming we are going to go minimum 10-6 (which may not be enough to make it). We just allowed Baltimore to leap frog us as they will go 11-5. (Jax, NYG, Bengals). Raiders have Chargers, Dolphins and Denver. They can leap frog us. We put…[Read more]

We threw 47 times, ran 23 and lost. We’ve won 7 games via running the football. The past 2 weeks we became a pass happy team. That’s not how you win games. Horrific time management with 2 minutes left in the half. Had we run it the Ravens don’t get that TD.
Tell me then, you agree on 3rd and long to not QB spy a RB playing QB? Why?

Because he knew OBJ would tear his ACL and have a sports hernia for an entire year.
I’d trade him anyway – we need a real defender on the team somewhere.
