Barring a miracle the refs handed Tenn a win over TB. Unreal. Quick whistle stole TB go ahead TD with 3:41 left. TB got the call on the recovery because it was immediate and got stopped on 4th

Bob Wylie’s average is way better than Kitchens best in regard to protections.
Mayfield barely got touched second half of last year.
Monken is an issue as he’s all about vertical routes. Kitchens had Haley’s playbook and called different plays from it. This year those plays are gone. It’s evident. When was the last time you saw us run any cro…[Read more]

Zeitler for Vernon and losing Wylie who designed the protections mixed with a complete change in playbook has decimated the oline and is on the verge of destroying Mayfield. Kitchens would’ve made more sense had they demanded he keep the playbook. Why he had to “fix” what wasn’t broken is beyond reasoning. This everyone goes vertical route garbage…[Read more]

I love Dorsey player wise. At 33 though it’s a huge miss. He was always inactive

Just saw on Twitter it’s a 5th. That was a huge miss

Conditional 6th is my guess

I was for going on 4th on their half of the field. I’m talking about you advocating going for it on 4th and 15 from our own 5. IE never punting ever because going for it every time is aggressive.
Bottom line. His handling of the end of the Rams and end of half of Seattle cost us 2 games due to his ineptitude and inability to understand the s…[Read more]

Yes, I have a problem with it. It’s called situational playcalling. KISS. Instead we are 2-4. Want aggressive? Make an argument for going for it on every 4th down regardless of field position

Why do our RB’s consistantly get caught immediatley from behind on a screen pass? Bad play design.
Freddie Kitchens:
-Blown out by Tennessee
-2nd in the NFL in penalties
-Blown out by SF
-Completely botched the end of the Rams game with horrific playcalling
-Completely botched end of half 1 vs Seattle and gave them 6 free points by thinking he…[Read more]soup replied to the topic Orvlosky states owners need to demand better in the forum Browns Forum 6 years, 6 months ago
That ref couldn’t be more wrong. Walker had every right to the ball. That never has been nor ever will be a penalty. I was dumbfounded when they called it. I fell asleep before the 2 game rigging plays but read about them. I watch the Browns now and leave red zone on while doing other things. If I’m watching Monday or thursday nioght – it’s…[Read more]

My buddy lives in Cleveland. This wasn’t a “source” thing but a need thing he told me about being I’m not there

That was his explanation. A friend of mine told me about it this morning on text. Ruiters tweet confirmed it
He thought he could score, use 3 timeouts and score again all within 96 seconds. Excuses are over. Being that Kitchens still has a job, Dorsey solidifies his own fate. Say goodbye to Dorsey and Kitchens at years end

Daryl Ruiter:
Freddie Kitchens wouldn’t run Nick Chubb at the end of the first half and use timeouts because he thought the #Browns could score on a TD pass, use 3 timeouts, get the ball back & score again in 96 seconds. Let that sink in. Instead of going up 27-12, it was a 20-18 game at half
soup replied to the topic Game balls and goats Seattle in the forum Browns Forum 6 years, 6 months ago
No on Chubb because of the fumble even though that’s 75% on Kitchens. Our screens are always read. Bad play design. Just hand it off.

I’m talking more of the Monken connection. The offense completely changed from last year. Monken to Winston regression and Baker regression are similar

This was said prior to yesterdays games. Interesting take and could be very true:
Clark agreed that Mayfield is regressing, but pointed the finger at new offensive coordinator Todd Monken. Though Kitchens still calls the plays, he’s had to hand over the day-to-day handling of the offense to Monken because of his added duties as head c…[Read more]

Game balls:
No one
Goats:
Kitchens for being clueless
Defense for missing tackles constantly
Offensive line for sucking
Kitchens again for being useless

Chubb has 122 yards rushing. Look at the abysmal situational playcalling. Articles everywhere are talking about Kitchens head scratching calls. The fucking Steelers who are on their fucking 3rd string QB have t he same fucking record we do. Freddie Kitchens is a shit coach. It’s not debatable. Not sure what you are talking about. Red zone he was refusing to run – then called the same run twice in a row (after stopping the first successful one on a dumb challenge 20 minutes too late).
He’s an idiot. We are 2-4 solely because 1 team we played was on their 3rd string QB.
When your RB has 9 carries and 79 yards and your QB has 25 passes a…[Read more]

Another year filled with excuses to justify complete failure. On the opening KR we were guilty of a massive blindside block to spring Hilliard and it wasn’t called.
Enough is enough. The guy literally took away a Chubb walk in TD to challenge a TD which resulted in a turnover on downs. He continually throws the ball in the red zone for no r…[Read more]
