Cincy is one of the WORST places for a coach to go right now. They are a team in a downward spiral with a QB just good enough to keep his job while keeping them out of the playoffs. They aren’t good enough to attract Williams IMO.

I hate to say this but he’s the guy who satisfies the Rooney Rule for us. He’s going around the league interviewing for many HC openings for the same reason. There’s a very small chance he’s actually being seriously considered.

The NFL needs full time refs. And there’s a lot of things the NFL could learn from college rules regarding replays.

Remember the last 8 or so years when we got excited that our QB threw for over 200 yards? Remember when our defense was on the field 70% of the time? Those days are over.

The two reviews at the end of the game were both so close that I thought either should have gone as they were called on the field. Instead they both went in our favor. There is no conspiracy. Sometimes the refs just suck.

No reason not to resign either, but also no reason either should just be handed a job. I think competition at both positions is appropriate, especially at WR where no one has turned into a #1 WR. Both Perriman and Callaway have breakaway speed but neither is demanding a double team. We should still be looking for that guy.

If you figure that one out, some NFL team might hire you.

This list is also VERY preliminary. I think it only includes people in the last year of their contract. Most of the good players to hit free agency are guys that get released.
