It remains to be seen if we have that yet, but the situation Manziel is in, seems far better than the situation Quinn was in, or any other QB we have had.

It is true often that bad teams can ruin good prospects. In the NFL this is probably more true of QBs than any other position in any other sport.

September 21, 2015 at 2:17 pm #2064TREEParticipantSo this is where you all left to? I actually like Manziel. Always supported him and always thought eventually he could be a good QB. Kid would be a Senior this year if he were still in college. He does have skill, but he still needs some polish.
Personally, I would go back to McCown. I know that is probably not popular right now, but it’s what I’d do. Manziel does need to play to progress…..so it’s a dilemna. But I think you go with McCown, and then if he’s hurt or can’t lead the team, you go back to Manziel permanently.
