With Josh McCown out of action for an undetermined number of games, it’s Kessler’s turn to step up. For those unfamiliar with Kessler, he left USC with over 10,000 yards, 88 TD’s, only 19 INT’s, and over 67% completion percentage. The Browns drafted him in the 3rd round and he saw only very limited action in the preseason. He went 19 for 28 for only 92 yards and had one rush for a single yard. He’s a rookie in the truest sense.
