Did you ever wonder what would happen if NFL teams drafted strictly on a talent grade, regardless of need? I must admit, I’ve had that thought numerous times myself. Well, this year, curiosity has gotten the best of me; so let me lay down the criteria of this mock.
1 – Talent grades are based on those posted on NFL.com. I was unable to find out just who is responsible for compiling the list and giving out the grades, but I suspect that Gil Brandt has something to do with it.
Every year I have people are asking me, “Hey Wunkle, what do think about this guy?” or “Hey Wunkle, where do you think that guy should go?” Well, this year is no different; and while I think it’s still a little premature to say who’s going where, what I can do is give you my thoughts about what are – at least to me – the top twenty players in this year’s draft. With that said, let’s get this party started.
The Cleveland Browns announced that a statue of Jim Brown would be erected outside of FirstEnergy Stadium. This announcement coming around Jim’s 80th birthday. The timetable for completion is sometime during the 2016-2017 season.
