Game #1 against the Jets confirmed what we already knew; this team is the worst team the Browns fielded since the return.  It’s not even close.   

The coaching on this team is beyond pathetic.  It’s clear no one buys into anything they are selling.  The defense is soft and the most overrated unit in the NFL (people actually were dumb enough to think we had a solid defense) and the offense is actually worse than imagined.  That’s a feat in itself.

Browns shut it down early on opening day

If you stopped watching after the 1st quarter of this game, you likely left believing that the Jets were no match for the Browns. Unfortunately there were three more quarters to play. McCown looked very efficient, even downright good before he got a concussion bravely diving at the goal line. That’s when the game started falling apart for the Browns. Five more fumbles would give an easy win to the Jets 31-10. The Jets were able to capitalize scoring 24 points on those turnovers.

Browns release opening game depth chart

The Browns released their opening game depth chart and there are some surprises.

The first thing I was looking for right off the bat was to see where 1st round pick Cam Erving is playing on the O-line. It’s no secret that the right side of our line was extremely weak last year so I’m really disappointed that Erving didn’t claim one of those two spots and make us better.
