Our beloved Brownies have diligently combed through the 2015 NFL free agent market and have brought back quarterback Thaddeus Lewis to compete for a roster spot. That’s right, fans. Your Cleveland Browns have thrown caution to the wind and signed yet another quarterback that nobody knows if he’s even a viable backup at the NFL level; but
Browns Sign Brian Hartline
The Browns have come to terms with free agent WR Brian Hartline. The Canton native brings with him 6 years of NFL experience, and over 2500 yards of production in the last three seasons. Hartline joins a hard-working group of Browns receivers including Andrew Hawkins, Taylor Gabriel, and Travis Benjamin.
Hartline is a solid receiver who works hard after the catch, but even with this signing the Browns are still in the market to add a number one receiving threat. Hartline’s presence will help
Wunkle Rates the Receivers – 2015 Edition
Since our beloved Brownies are also in need of a couple front line receivers, I thought I’d give a breakdown of the ones whose names you’ll hear in the top end of the draft. To give you some idea as to how deep the position is this year, there are nearly thirty receivers ranked in the top 200 players overall with ten of those in the top fifty. If it’s a receiver you’re looking for, you should be able to find one or more in this draft.
