In a surprise move, the Browns have suspended talented receiver Josh Gordon for game 17 against the Ravens.
Allegedly, Gordon and Manziel were absent for walkthroughs today which is what led to Gordon’s suspension. The silver lining is that Gordon will only play 5 games this season, so as far as his contract is concerned this season won’t count. The Browns get an extra year out of him, if they want it.

Another week has passed, and we’re still no closer to seeing what Manziel can bring the Browns. Manziel left the game against the Panthers with a hamstring issue, after completing only 3 of 8 passes for 32 yards. Brian Hoyer replaced him and completed 7 of 13 passes for 134 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Hoyer also outgained Manziel on the ground with 19 yards rushing compared to Manziel’s 3.
