We’ve had this discussion concerning the QB’s in this draft before. I’d love to read what your top twenty would look like. This year’s is really top heavy with edge rushers, but is it based more on real talent or rather what the coveted positions are throughout the league?

If I could add anything else, I’d say that it’s almost as if Ray Farmer is telling Browns fans with a sarcastic smirk on his face, “So . . . you want a quarterback, huh? Here you go. How about them apples?”

I see Hartline as a solid signing as a legitimate #2 receiver that can move the chains – particularly on third down. The Browns are still lacking a legitimate #1. Now that Andre Johnson is available; do the Browns make a play for him, draft one in the first round or possibly both?

There’s also a dearth of talent at QB at the NFL level, so out of their desperate situation, someone will take this kid in the top ten. That’s my take and I’m sticking to it.

There’s only one problem with that thought, Dude . . . Mariota’s probably not getting out of the top ten because of the dearth of talent at QB in this year’s draft.

To answer your question . . . I’m not so sure that he exists this year. By all accounts, Brett Hundley seems to be the third guy in the QB pecking order because he tics a lot of the boxes from a physical standpoint.
