Obviously, your calling everything doom and gloom to prepare for your insufferable “I told you so rant” after the rams game this week. But seriously, take a Xanax.
Up by 20, and they have a 3rd string QB in and can’t move the ball? Run any god damn play you want to work on against an NFL defense. Literally, anything in the playbook that you w…[Read more]

This is soooooo dumb. But, he’s not the first fan banned, and the Browns aren’t the first team to do it.
It’s a little beer, get the F over it. Don’t like it? Stay out of the dawg pound. Simple enough.
Dawg E. Dawg replied to the topic Goats vs Titans in the forum Browns Forum 6 years, 7 months ago
I don’t want to hear any of this “they didn’t cause us to lose by 30 BS,” because they definitely caused us to lose.
Literally handed out first downs on one drive to gift the Titans 7 points.
Called a blind side block to wipe out a good gain by OBJ, then IGNORED THE SAME BLOCK on Henry’s long TD. The same block. That’s a 10 point swing…[Read more]

I’m up for anything that gets Hubbard off the field. He’s straight garbage.

So, who’s everybody interested in? Receiver, Kicker, and Punter seem the most interesting to me right off hand. I agree, it’d be great to keep the Scottish hammer, but Colquitt has been damn good, and 2 punters would be insane.
At WR, it’ll be interesting to see if Braxton makes it. The rumor I’ve heard is that he’s got a spot, but that’d be a…[Read more]

Also, it makes NO sense to get rid of 2 young, talented players for a guy on the wrong side of 30 and commanding a ton of money. Hard pass.

Schefty is reporting that McCoy is signing with Carolina.
I would’ve liked to see him in Brown and Orange, but I’m still considering him signing with Carolina over Baltimore a win.
Dawg E. Dawg started the topic Browns Draft Grades in the forum Browns Forum 6 years, 12 months ago
I HATE immediately grading a teams draft, because it’s always based on the graders ranking of the players. It’s an exercise in futility.
To prove this, I linked LAST YEARS rankings above, where they gave the Browns a B+, because the ranker wasn’t sold on Mayfield, and called Denzel Ward a “reach”, and a “Terrance…[Read more]

He probably did a Mormon mission, didn’t he? That’s why most BYU players are older, cuz they have to take a year or two away from school doing their mission.
Dawg E. Dawg replied to the topic Duke wants out in the forum Browns Forum 7 years ago
It’s been the story of his career. I blame it solely on Hue. Every time He touches the ball, he makes plays. Those plays were then followed by a Hue Jackson press confeence saying “we need to find ways to get him the ball more.”
Hue Jackson has to be the only idiot that can’t find ways to get the ball to a RB with great receiving ability.
Dawg E. Dawg replied to the topic Duke wants out in the forum Browns Forum 7 years ago
Dude, you’re high. He averaged 5.0 ypc last year. That’s the same as Christian McCaffrey and Saquon Barkley, who everybody loves.
Is he as good as those 2 players? No, is not as strong. But he’s as elusive as any body in the league in open space. And he’s a good receiver. He would have a career on ANY NFL team. That’s not even debatable.
Dawg E. Dawg replied to the topic Ogbah trades to the Chiefs in the forum Browns Forum 7 years ago
So, we cut Kindred, and trade Ogbah for a player that looks to be very similar to Kindred in terms of where there at in their careers.
I’m willing to give Dorsey a long leash, but this is a head scratcher for sure. We gave away valuable depth at DE for a guy that was never at any point considered good enough to be a starter at SS, except when t…[Read more]

It’s pretty telling that you can say all that and Nick Chubb doesn’t even make the highlights. Corbett, now in line to be a staring guard, doesn’t make the highlights. Antonio Calloway, a promising young receiver drafted in the fourth round, doesn’t make the highlights.
And he also had to deal with getting played by Michael Kendricks and hav…[Read more]

I think this is pure BS. I can buy that Cleveand wasn’t crazy about who they were projecting would be available at 17, but the idea that there are “15 1st round talents and we’re at 17” is nonsense.
First, every team grades players differently. No NFL team can possibly predict where players will be selected, so if you’ve got 15 players y…[Read more]

You have a reading comprehension issue. How does “he could be making it all up” translate to “I’d believe anything Harris says” in Soupese? Get it through your head that Harris isn’t the one that makes this plausible. Bens reputation as an asshat rapist is what makes it believable.
And the “multiple other guys” are limited the guy whose n…[Read more]

Mistakes like that don’t happen “quite a bit.” During the regular flow of the game? It happens occasionally. On potentially the last play of the game when you’re up by 10? That almost never happens.
And josh didn’t insinuate anything. He flat out stated that Ben intentionally fumbled. He never stated that Bens plan was to recover t…[Read more]

His playing time and talent mean nothing in this situation. The argument against him would be the same if it were Le’Veon Bell: that he’s making it up for attention.
But consider this, he’s remembered this play for 4 years. You don’t hold onto something like that just to MAYBE get a little attention down the road. You hold onto it because…[Read more]

If, and big IF, what Harris is saying is true, then it stands to reason Bens “story” would be that he forgot where the FB was, and Haley would add the word slant so it doesn’t happen again.
I agree though, Harris has no proof that it was intentional. And it were an other comparable QB (Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Rivers, Ryan, etc) I wouldn’t give th…[Read more]

Where’s the proof that he’s lying? Bruce’s explanation is basically that Ben should have reversed out to avoid getting in the fullbacks way, but he forgot.
He has no more proof that Ben forgot to reverse out than Harris has proof that it was intentional, unless I’m very much missing something.
