This isn’t putting faith in a draft pick. This is evaluating a guy that’s been on the team for a year, competing against NFL talent. Dorsey should have a pretty damn good handle on Corbett’s abilities.

But, I like that they didn’t let the presence of Chad Thomas stop them from upgrading at DE. I really have a lot of trust in Dorsey. More so than any other GM of the Browns since I’ve been alive.

They could have the game if they gave the players a real financial reason to play. Right now, I think the winners get 75k and losers 25k. At least that’s what it was a couple years ago. That’s the cost of a fine for some in season infractions.

Give the players a reason a play, and the game becomes interesting. Otherwise, don’t bother having it.
