I actually just listened to an audio clip from him that backs up what you said…with the added caveat that the coaching staff all believe that they’re getting fired at the end of the season (what they believe vs. what happens remains to be seen).
Seems as if everyone from the top down thinks this season is a lost cause.

Your buddy Schefter says that meeting isn’t going to be until tomorrow. And that we “may trade the rights” to him.
Which would be stupid.

It was quite the epic ballad. But, due to the fact that he let Zane fucking Gonzalez run right past him with nary a comment for missing that extra point (nevermind the field goal), he gets no gameball from me. However, he didn’t do anything to earn a goat either. Still, if he keeps at it, cuts back to getting fucked up only on Tuesdays and…[Read more]
DawgPoundDude replied to the topic Our first overall pick should be a QB. in the forum Browns Forum 7 years, 5 months ago
We would have found a way to fuck Wentz up had we picked him. Just like we’ll find a way to fuck up whatever QB we take in the 5th round next season…assuming Sashi and Paul are still around.
You know, I get the idea of trading down to aquire more picks, but those picks really haven’t panned out in the least. I mean really, out of the last two…[Read more]

Better hope the line comes to play, because McCourty is out too.
And considering I won’t be watching today, odds are good that they win. Hence your funny feeling.

Well said, Soup.
It’s easy for those who never dealt with addiction to pass judgement on an individual’s engagements with substance abuse and generically lump them into “the dopehead” pile, what that person likely doesn’t realize is that the struggle to overcome the addiction can be one of the, if not THE most difficult thing that said person…[Read more]

I just watched this and was coming to share it.
To those of you who haven’t and wondered “how could he let all that talent go to waste?”, and have never battled addiction, I implore you to take 13 minutes and watch. Amazing insight. And if he’s honest with himself and not doing this for show (I believe he’s being honest), he may yet have a…[Read more]

Y’know, this is all a big fucking mess. And not just at the QB position.
Before yesterday, I wouldn’t have agreed about Hogan. I’d have wanted the suck to continue while Kizer “grew”. But let’s face it…whatever magic he possessed in the preseason disappeared by game 1. Hogan isn’t perfect, but he’s our only hope to win a game. After 2 seasons…[Read more]

Soup…the resident doctor, offensive coordinator, judge, jury, executioner, AND run-game therapist. Is there nothing this man isn’t capable of?
Oh, that’s right…gray areas are not your forte.
My take is yes, we pass the ball on a defense that can’t seem to stop it, but we certainly don’t get away from the run. If Crow wants that big payday…[Read more]

I mean fuck it…at the very least, get him out there blocking for the run game, or passes to other people. Bonus points if he actually plays football.
We already wasted a roster spot on Britt. What’s another one?
DawgPoundDude replied to the topic Kizer in the forum Browns Forum 7 years, 7 months ago
Well, what about grasshoppers? They’re good for you, right?
Though in this case, it looks like it was the cause of the headache…
…Or how about these birds, feeding that nice man?
God…this thread is toast. But, highly entertaining. I never in a million years thought I’d see the…[Read more]
DawgPoundDude replied to the topic Corey Coleman – weak bodied bust in the forum Browns Forum 7 years, 7 months ago
I wouldn’t go as far as to call him a bust, but he certainly gives concern over his durability. He’s definitely rewriting what it means to have soft hands.
That said, I have yet to see him not give plenty of effort, unlike the second coming of Dwayne Bowe, Mr. Britt. That dude is a waste of money, talent, and a roster spot.
DawgPoundDude replied to the topic Kizer in the forum Browns Forum 7 years, 7 months ago
Absolutely. But the point is, he had one, and it’s not something you’re going to play through, period. And maybe he’ll be more cautious in the future, or maybe the medicine didn’t work this time.
And fuck you Dawson. I’m the reason for your wife’s “headaches”. Just sayin’. 😂
DawgPoundDude replied to the topic Kizer in the forum Browns Forum 7 years, 7 months ago
I will say this: a migraine (a true migraine, not that bullshit the wife pulls when you’re getting frisky) is one of the worst conditions a human can go through.
I knew a guy who would get them so badly that he had the bathroom in the middle of his home set up with no lighting and away from as sound as much as possible, because if any of that…[Read more]

Man, you all should know there’s no gray area with Soup…it’s either black or it’s white.
That said, when you expect a rookie QB to pass the ball 764 times against a defense that basically bitchslapped a veteran QB the week before the same way, it goes beyond the QB. Fact is, he had no business throwing that much. And if you were expecting a…[Read more]

Scratch that- he IS cut. Nobody’s saying who did what, only that Pryor is done. Kai Nacua is bumped from the practice squad to cover.

Pimp that shit. I live near KC, and I am constantly wearing my Cleveland/OSU gear. I’m not a baseball fan, but you should see the looks I get when I’m sporting the Wahoo (bought expressly for the purpose of said looks).
Yeah, it’s mandatory. We’d all be disappointed in you otherwise.
