Well, it’s a good thing they don’t play to impress you then, Soup.
Shooter, your assessment of Kizer is on point. His numbers were bad, but man did he look great putting them up. The “push-off” penalty against Coleman was more of the same bullshit phantom calls we’ve endured in the past, and the Duke fumble destroyed what was a likely touchdown…[Read more]

Well, most QBs. It’s basically the graveyard for those that throw passes…not just rookies.
Look, he’s starting, and I hope that he does light years better than those that came before. I hope he does as well as Big Ben (minus the rape). I hope we finally build a contender and start getting into the playoffs.
Your reasoning is sound. If we…[Read more]

Let’s just say we have a history for ruining quarterbacks. As to how, we always find a way. I just don’t want to see the kid get killed.
And so you know, the case is there for him to play, and play now. Call it a hunch or a lesson from history, but I get the feeling that playing him game one would be a mistake…and yet, he seems to be our best…[Read more]

Now, I just want to state up front that I’m all for Kizer staying on the bench for a while. I don’t want to see this kid ruined (especially when he takes off running and nearly gets himself killed…after looking right at an open Seth DeValve).
However, these are hard facts to argue. As are these numbers…

Shooter, either you put way too much thought, time and effort into the mental makeup of a bear and subsequently peeing on things…or you, sir, are a borderline psychotic. Either way, well said. Still, Ice had a hell of an idea.
And this thread is officially off the rails. As in it grew wings, flew off, and landed on some French church.

Nope. That’s exactly what Soup’s for. Last thing I want is to hear another spiel about being locked in a closet and some unpleasantness about a broomstick (don’t think I forgot the Smack Shack man).
Random thought: best defense to a bear is to wait until he rears up, kick that motherfucker in the balls and RUN.

Refreshing the page usually helps me (especially if you’re on a phone).
Try not letting life get in the way too much…we need as many Browns fans as we can get around here! Plus, who else is going to counter the counterpoints of Shooter and Soup?
So hopefully life and your password let you post more often. Good to see you around man.

Because I never compared anything but their resumes. It’s NOT DIFFERENT FOR ME. I DO believe that Williams is a better, more proven coach than Horton. But you can bet your ass that if this season goes much like last season, I’ll be one of the many voices clamoring for his release.
Let me make myself clear: if this was Game 12 of the regular…[Read more]

Hey, Soup…I’m going to sum this up.
1) Horton was here last year because he was the fat kid in the dodgeball game. You’ll note that he still is not employed. Hue very likely never wanted him to begin with. I doubt he ever got a phone call when, what, five different teams (a guess) had a new head coach for this season? My guess is there’s a very…[Read more]

The 2017-2018 season, according to Soup:
YES Soup, we shouldn’t have allowed it. I agree. But damn, I’ve said it earlier, I’ll say it again, and Im not going to bother the next time it’s brought up: when individual players don’t do what’s expected of them, it leaves the entire defense vulnerable. It is absolutely…[Read more]

Bill, are you out of your damn mind? Delete this part of your post before Soup sees it…!
Seriously though, I agree with everything you said. I’d also like to add that Tank Carder (see, I just pulled an Uncle Bill bold-the-guy’s- name there) needs to stay the hell out of the Mike spot- Joe Schobert would be ideal to run there. Danny Shelton…[Read more]
