I think the plan was to tank the last two seasons. I’m not excited about anyone. Hue and Haley didn’t work out at all, but that’s a hell of a lot of NFL offensive experience that we got rid of. I don’t like the idea of bringing in someone with very little or zero NFL experience to teach our franchise QB the ways of the NFL.

In the short term firing coaches never makes things better. It is the long term where the firing makes a positive change. For the rest of this year we’re down our 2 most important coaches. It’s like being down your first and 2nd string QB’s halfway through the season. We all have seen over and over what that’s like.

I think we’re already getting Joe’s coaching for free. Listening to Joe’s podcast he’s been quite active in helping Harrison this year.

Saunders is loved by the staff and the players, he’s the only one I can think of that would stop a player revolt. Could Gregg Williams take orders from Al Saunders? I dunno.

You think Joe Thomas can turn Harrison into Joe Thomas? I sure as hell don’t. Wiley will leave at the end of the season when the new HC or OC bring in their own staff. No reason to cut him now.

Not if Al Saunders is still with the team.

Players get the money as long as they play. Effort doesn’t matter and there’s no reason for the team not to tank. You fire the HC and OC in the same day and you’ve given up on the year. Time to play the rookies.

Dorsey gets his wish; full control. He’ll pick his own HC and OC.

BTW this season is now just as inconsequential as the past 10 have been. No reason for the players to try hard anymore.
