I am not sure if this is true or not. Hue Jackson came out and said it was something he never heard and since he was the HC, I think he would be heard rumors at that time.

Browns offered the #1 pick for him, your headline is misleading. And yes you do that trade 100 out of 100 times. No way Seattle would be dumb enough to take it

You don’t need stats to make ridiculous conclusions.

I’ll believe it when it happens. U til then I expect 5-11 at best. I’d rather be surprised than disappointed like last year

Kubiak played QB behind Elway. I’m aware.
Minnesota playoffs. 14-10 at halftime SF lead. Total handoffs for the game – 10. 3 in half 2.
We will be a pass happy team like all dumb Cleveland coaches

I’d love to eat that crow. The odds of Stefanski committing to the run with a former QB as an OC are very slim.

For the record, my prediction is 5-11 because Browns

Reality. We can beat Baltimore and have 3 of the last 4 times (sorry, stupid cheating female ref allowing Duke Johnson to be clotheslined on a pass play to allow Baltimore to win doesn’t count. I painted it as a loss just because. You can flip Baltimore and Cincy if you want W L wise. My point is 6-2 isn’t out of the realm of possibility
soup replied to the topic Browns Schedule in the forum Browns Forum 5 years, 11 months ago
How can you say it’s a rough schedule? No one knows. Go by team? Okay:
Ravens – loss
Bengals – rookie QB and shit coach – W
Redskins – shirt QB and owner W
Cowboys – no QB in t he NFL is more average than Prescott – W
Colts – bunch of nobody’s – W
Steelers – L
Bengals – see above W
Raiders – Gruden is a moron and they have a TV guy GM – W6-2

The Rams went to the Super Bowl. The following year they missed t playoffs. Last years record doesn’t mean shit. In the late 90s the Rams went 3-13, the following year they won the Super Bowl. The previous years record doesn’t mean shit. Stefanski ran Kubiaks offense last year. We also have a different OC who may or may not call plays so no, the…[Read more]

I realize that the RG is still going to have to do his job. I also happen to realize that when you have a great player next to you, it will give you confidence because you don’t have to worry about the guy next to you doing his job.
The Browns have filled a lot of holes this year and RG, while weak is mainly an unknown right now. We can use an…[Read more]

In case you missed it, last year’s record means zilch. Bengals have 3 less hours of rest and preparation than we do. Ravens play against a Browns team with a different scheme. We can prepare now for them, they can’t prepare now for us. Advantage Browns. Quit making excuses
soup replied to the topic Browns Schedule in the forum Browns Forum 5 years, 11 months ago
Because it’s making excuses. We start 0-2 “well the NFL made us play Baltimore then 4 days later Cincy” (who has a 4pm game opening week).
In September I’m doubtful fans will be at games yet. They’ll be empty stadiums
BillWunkle replied to the topic Larry Worford in the forum Browns Forum 5 years, 11 months ago
While it’s true that the RT spot is vastly improved, whoever wins the RG spot will still have to do his job. All five starting O-linemen have to know the scheme and learn how they can work best together. The fact remains that we’re still dealing with two question marks along the O-line. Now, by all appearances, it seems that the LT spot was…[Read more]

What rough start? None of those teams are close to elite up through the bye week. Every one of those games is extremely winnable. Stay in your lane and you beat Baltimore because RBs don’t make good QBs. The only thing that makes this schedule look daunting at all is the fact our team is Cleveland. The Washington Generals of the NFL

Yay for early excuses! 1-19-1 is our opening day record since 1999. Enough with the excuses beg or e t he season. If this season is played, anything but making the playoffs is an abject failure by this coaching staff and should cost their jobs. I’m done with bills got excuses. We’ll know week 1 if he’s a coach with a shit by how much he runs…[Read more]

Shooter, the Browns play the Colts in Cleveland and it is a 4:25 start and that is what I find weird. I do not remember the last time the Browns had a scheduled 4 pm start at home.
BrownsFan4Life replied to the topic My attempt at the 55 man roster/depth chart in the forum Browns Forum 5 years, 11 months ago
One thing I know for sure is that there will be at least 1 (probably more) player on the roster who isn’t on the team right now. It happens every year. I would prefer that player to be Clowney but don’t think it will happen.
BrownsFan4Life replied to the topic Larry Worford in the forum Browns Forum 5 years, 11 months ago
I actually think that having Conklin at right tackle is going to make whoever wins the right guard spot automatically better.
BrownsFan4Life replied to the topic Larry Worford in the forum Browns Forum 5 years, 11 months ago
He is a better first for the power run blocking scheme and horizontal spread passing offense. Neither of which we employ.
