Bonus Gameball: Mason Rudolph for sucking at being a QB, getting benched, and now making the Steelers start their third stringer against us. Eat a bag of dicks you fucking prick.

Don’t forget Richardson, he really stepped up with 3/4 of our line out. Sheldon set up camp in the backfield and lived there all day.
OBJ didn’t have as big a day as Landry, but made some clutch catches and had the entire secondary following him around to get the other guys open.

Although it would make perfect sense that there would be an agreement with the NFLPA that nothing recorded could be used for legal purposes. In fact, I’d be surprised if that wasn’t a precondition for recording.

Yep. Anytime there’s a “live” mic in any sport, even for announcers, it’s on a delay. And when they show the “mic’d up” thing it’s always a quarter-ish later. I’m skeptical the NFL is saving a few bucks on hard drives by immediately deleting backup audio files.

Well I understand the actual reason why; I just don’t see a justifiable reason to not suspend Mason.
MDP Sack Attack replied to the topic Myles Suspended in the forum Browns Forum 6 years, 5 months ago
How does Rudolph not get suspended as well? He instigated the whole thing by trying to rip off Garrett’s helmet, kicking him in the nuts, and then chasing him down the field and shoving him. He should get at least a game.
MDP Sack Attack replied to the topic Myles Garrett in the forum Browns Forum 6 years, 5 months ago
I was mistaken, it was Albert Haynesworth, not Suh, who stomped on a player’s head. He was suspended five games.
Suh smashed an opponents head into the ground three times and then stomped on their arm. He was suspended two games.
I’d expect Garrett to be suspended somewhere in between those.
Idiot.
MDP Sack Attack replied to the topic Myles Garrett in the forum Browns Forum 6 years, 5 months ago
Yeah, that was Suh stomping on someone’s head bad.
Baker, postgame, handled it like a leader.

Evidently he is facing a ten game suspension for another substance abuse violation. Makes more sense now; he was a non-factor the rest of the season, regardless.
MDP Sack Attack replied to the topic OL Forbes activated from IR and WR Callaway waived! in the forum Browns Forum 6 years, 5 months ago
Surprising, considering they’d said he was only suspended for the one game.
Also fairly inconsequential. OBJ (and Hunt, to an extent) can do everything Callaway does, but infinitely better. Higgins, as a sure-handed first down machine, is a much better third option for us.

Yeah, but save Hue Jackson that’s just a coincidence, in that the Steelers game was the last game of the season for (I think?) all the rest.
MDP Sack Attack replied to the topic Solid article on Beckham in the forum Browns Forum 6 years, 5 months ago
He’s had a few drops, but most of them are the result of the off-balance way he’s being forced to contort and catch the ball while covered. And I agree he should -and can- catch most of those. It will come, I think he’s just pressing a bit as our offense had struggled to get going (mostly as a result of inept playcalling, IMHO). Let’s not confuse…[Read more]

If defenses are giving him underneath routes, we need to keep going to them until they’re forced to adjust. A steady diet of short sideline routes to Beckham, running Chubb up the gut, and quick passes to Hunt all day…[Read more]

I think that’s only if the player recovers his own fumble.
MDP Sack Attack replied to the topic Game Balls and Goats va Buffalo Bills in the forum Browns Forum 6 years, 5 months ago
Chubb gets both a Gameball and a Goat.
His vision and patience are an amazing asset, he constantly finds holes in the defense and angles of attack.
He was terrible in the red zone today, for this exact reason. When the field is shorter, he has to just plow ahead. Hesitation results in losses. Hit the line, stay low, keep your legs pumping.

Did we ever circle back to that argument around 2014 or so and agree that Anderson was the better QB?
MDP Sack Attack replied to the topic Freddie Kitchens in the forum Browns Forum 6 years, 5 months ago
I hope that’s not the case. His roster deserves at least another couple seasons under a good coach. Firing a GM means an entire roster and organizational overhaul…again…and a three year setback. I truly think a good head coach could have a winning record with this team.

Our defense misses Damarious Randall to a ridiculous extent. He made our backup corners look like stars. In his absence our starting corners look like backups.
It’s disappointing that Wilks can’t seem to make an adjustment, but apparently Randall existing ten yards back is the entirety of our strategy to cover the middle of the field when…[Read more]

Along those lines, I think the inability to get Odell the ball is what will specifically get Freddie fired, even more than his general inability to organize and execute a gameplan.
Dorsey made the decision to trade a first round pick for Beckham. His lack of production makes Dorsey look bad for making that move. Don’t make your boss look bad.
